Shakespeare's well-known lighthearted musical comedy "Twelfth Night" has several main narratives and supporting ones. The Illyrian ducal nobility, including Countess Olivia, Duke Orsino, and their aides, make up the majority of the company.

The twins Viola and Sebastian, as well as their pals, are among the survivors. Later in the comedy, Antonio and Viola's ship captain both have key roles. Sir Toby Belch and Maria are the leaders of the merry band of pranksters, gullibles, and tricksters, which also includes Sir Andrew Aguecheek, Fabian, and Feste the Clown.

Due to his freedom of movement and capacity to perform for Duke Orsino or devise a ruse with Sir Toby, Feste is a part of all groupings.

Malvolio, Lady Olivia's puritanical servant, is not a part of the groupings, and because of his conceit and ego, he irritates Maria, Feste, and Sir Toby. Malvolio believes that the woman he loves is in passion for him thanks to a letter Maria writes to him after realizing this. The group laughs as they see Malvolio fall for the ruse.

Viola poses as a boy to get a job working for Duke Orsino and is then dispatched to court Countess Olivia, who is in affection for Cesario. In response to Sir Toby's trick on Malvolio, Sir Toby marries Maria, Orsino marries Viola, and Sebastian, the twin of Viola, marries Olivia.
